Join your neighbors at a family-friendly community expo at the Hudsonville High School. This event is open to the public and offers exciting door prizes, giveaways, and something for the whole family!

Easter Egg Hunt
Brought to Hughes Park each Easter weekend by RE/MAX Grand Valley, the community Easter Egg Hunt is a wonderful opportunity for kids up to ten to enjoy a fun outdoor activity.

Nature Center
The City of Hudsonville boasts a world class nature center, featuring 74 acres of natural land, including forests, prairie and wetland. The Friends of the Parks offers great ways to get involved in the nature center!

Concerts on the Green

A summer concert series in Hudsonville that is held every Thursday night in June. Concerts are free and are held at the Veterans Memorial Park. Fun kids activities, food and dessert options are all available at the park! Bring your own blanket or chair and a friend and enjoy good music in the summer air.

Disc Golf
An 18-hole disc golf course with 9 baskets can be found at Hughes Park. The course, which was established in 2001, is 3,645 feet in length.

The City of Hudsonville offers five fantastic parks: Hudsonville Nature Center, Veteran's Park, Sunrise Park, Hughes Park and Hillside Park. Included in the parks are hiking trails, lookouts, picnic areas, a memorial wall, playgrounds, tot lots, open shelters, ball diamonds, volleyball courts, pavilions, disc golf and basketball courts.

Go Swimming
In addition to swimming classes, the Hudsonville High School offers open swim times at the High School's pool. Saturday swims are available during the school year and weekday swims are offered during the summer.

Farmer's Market
The Hudsonville Farmer's Market is hosted by the Farmer's Co-Op and highlights local farmers and crafters. You can purchase baked goods, farm fresh produce and handcrafted items at this community market each Wednesday from 8am to 2pm from June to October.

Hudsonville Community Fair
Bring your friends and family to enjoy the largest community fair in Ottawa County. The fair is in late August of each year at the Hudsonville Fairgrounds, located between Park St. and 40th Ave., just south of Grant St. in Hudsonville.

Hudsonville Holiday Parade
On the Saturday before Thanksgiving each year, you can see a lively holiday parade traveling from Highland Drive, along 32nd Ave., to Central Blvd. The parade ends at City Hall where there is a community party complete with Santa & his reindeer, games, and crafts for the kids, hot chocolate, coffee & cookies.

Art & Culture
The Hudsonville Arts Council is focused on enhancing and promoting the arts and culture of Hudsonville. Throughout the year they organize community art events, including Art In The Park & other community art projects.

Nature Walks
Take a summer/fall walk with the City's Naturalist, Craig Elston, and learn all about the natural features in the City of Hudsonville. Walks are monthly on Saturdays at 2pm and start from the parking area at the end of New Holland Ave., East of 32nd Ave.

Craft Show
The Lions Club of Hudsonville hosts a phenomenal community craft show each November at the Hudsonville High School. See the artwork of hundreds of artists all in one place!

Over 50 artists converge on Veterans Park in June, with performers and demonstrators presenting live art. There is food, and fun for the whole family and opportunities to participate in a community art project, with prizes, and support the local art scene.

The Hudsonville Area Chamber Seek & Win is a fun summer opportunity to visit local businesses to win prizes. The Seek & Win playing card can be picked up in June or July at local businesses, completed and turned in for participation in a raffle for prizes.
